Backyard Landscaping
Mary's parents and brother came down this weekend and we landscaped the backyard. Get ready for some rockin' summer barbecue's and tasty Ramer burgers!

As a tribute to the first day of Spring, Google has changed their logo today to The Very Hungry Caterpillar. This was one of my favorite books as a kid, so I am enjoying this every time I need to google information. Welcome Spring. Glad to have you here.
Someone placed their video camera on a conveyor belt in Japan. Check out the reaction and lack there of, from all of the people in the restaurant. Awesome.

It was a cold-ish night in Panama City when Mom and Dad sent me off with Granny Ramer for a while because Mom had to go in the hospital. When I came back I had a little sister. According to Mom and Dad, from that point until you were 5, I was your voice. You would grunt and I would interpret to let Mom and Dad know what you needed or in your case wanted. ;)
I can't imagine my life without you Mel. I admire so many things about you but mostly how you have taught me to care and treat other people. I think you are amazing. The only thing I can not wrap my mind around is how you became so old!
I love you with all of my heart and wish you the happiest 30th birthday ever. I hope I can grow up to be just half of the caring, compasionate, loving woman that you are. With all of my heart...
Chelle.
I had no idea that you could use Microsoft Word to post directly to your blog! Is this common knowledge that I am just now finding out about?! And I am still not sure what I think about this default Calibri font. Something about it gets under my skin.

Mary and I headed out for our family tour of Florida on Wednesday. We dropped by her parents house on Wednesday night and had a great Turkey feast on Thanksgiving day. When we were there I found this great beauty! Perhaps this was taken during Mary's Barbason days!
Thursday night we headed up to Panama City where we had another Turkey feast on Friday. Aunt Lindi was in town and just had to share a picture of the cornbread dressing with Mel.
On Saturday my cousin Marc and his kids spent the day with us at Grandaddy's where we made some sugar cane. I got this nifty little Kodak Zi6 HD video camera and Mary captured the fun. (click on the title "Makin' Cane Juice" to go to the actual video. Vimeo will only let you embed HD videos if you get a pro account... grrrr)

Saturday night was the dreaded FSU vs. UF game so me, Mary, Mom and Dad headed out in the rain to watch the poor Seminoles get slaughtered by the Gators. Mary had a great time cheering on her Gators. Dad let it slide given she is getting her Masters from there next semester. If she were just a fan of the team there is no way he would have shared his seats with her. :)
We also got to hang out with Tracie in Tallahassee on Saturday night to have one last good time before she heads back to A-stan on Tuesday. It was a great trip, but now I feel like I need a vacation!
I finally got around to posting pictures from our trip to the Pacific Northwest in August. Enjoy!
